ON Saturday, March 2, get ready for a mix of Hip Hop, drinks and just chill vibes as local Hip Hop sensation, Franale Holder, launches her new EP – ‘For Culture, Gods & Kings’.
You already know her; Franale’s a local favourite in both the Hip Hop and catering business. Now, she’s going to push local Hip Hop to another level: Egyptology, with the launch of For Culture, Gods & Kings.
The launch will be at the Cloud Lounge, located at 95 Fifth Avenue Subryanville. Holder told `The Buzz’ that she’s pretty “optimistic and excited” about this set of music because it features a bit of Egyptology- something she’s really into and perhaps not well-known in the local industry. Of course this just means that her work is a product of the unique blend of Egyptology and Hip Hop- and ‘old with the new’ blend.
Fuelling the Hip Hop vibe will be live performances from Kareem Kush Lewis; the Pyramid models; alongside Mapendo and Lee from the Guyana’s young Hip Hop Dance sensation, Euphoria Dance Crew (EDC). And of course, her DJs: Mix Master Tony and DJ Reality will ensure that the ambience is just right.
On the list of things to look forward to, Franale shared that it is a must for her to perform. Aside from that main attraction, she intends on showing the love to her supporters. She’s giving away autographed photos of herself, there will be a setup to take photos and Campari will be doing cocktails all night.
Tickets cost only $2,000 and on entrance, every person will get a free autographed hard copy of Franale’s EP or a soft copy can be transferred to your device.
