Earlier in the day, the eventual champion passed a stern test by Devon Richmond in the semi-finals, which went the distance with France taking the match 3-2, after surging his way back from being a set down at 1-2. The scores in the semi-final were 9-11, 11-9, 7-11, 11-7 and 11-7.
Enroute to the final, Mc Clenon got past Remy Taitt 14-12, 8-11, 12-10, 8-11, 11-8 to set up the clash with France.

The competition will come to a close on Friday with the conclusion of the ‘C’ class, ‘B’ class and under – 21 categories, which reached the round of 16 on Sunday.
