THE Enmore Community Centre Cricket Club (ECCCC) whipped the visiting Helena Sports Club by 140 runs in a 30-over fixture at the Enmore Community Centre ground on Sunday.

Led by skipper Bheemraj Ramkelawan, the home team was able to march to a whopping 274-3 from their allotted overs.

Ramkelawan struck 88 runs, while Rudolph Singh scored 79 and Suresh Jainarine 71.
In the middle, Helena SC were tasked with scoring over 9.1 runs per over, but they were undone by off-spinners, Imran Mohammed and Satesh Jainarine, who combined for seven wickets.

Mohamed finished with 4-28, while Jainarine took 3-15 to restrict the visitors to 134 in 25 overs.
The win on Sunday was the club’s second victory for 2019, given that they got past the Bush Lot Sports Club two weekends ago at the same venue in a 33-over goodwill clash.
Batting first, the visitors scored 153-8 with R. Ramnarine and K. Ramoo leading the charge with 47 and 34 runs respectively.

In reply, Enmore CCCC were led to victory by Singh (64) and Amir Khan (33).
R. Kissoon led Bush Lot’s bowling attack with 4-16.

ECCCC are next scheduled to take on the Mahaica Sports Club in the 2019 SPR 40-over competition next weekend.
