This is the season of decorating the house and the office, but for ‘fashionovas’, it is also the season of dressing up one’s self.

The holiday spirit is now reflective in one’s nail design, make up design and wardrobe. Fashion dolls, make-up artiste and nail technicians are getting overly jealous of all the attention this season gives to interior designers, caterers and other workers and so they too want a piece of the pie and are incorporating the colours and theme of Christmas in their work.

This season, clients can be decked out from head to toe in Christmas-themed make-up, nails and gowns at their Christmas parties and more so staff parties. This article features a Christmas gown designed by Linden’s fashion designer, Crystal Lam, from Crystal Lam Designs, nail designs created by Ebony Grenville from Ebony Creative Hands Beauty Salon, and Make-Up artist Setra Oselmo, from Sisters to Sister Beauty Salon and Make-Up Parlour.

Oselmo, who is one of Linden’s leading Make-Up artist told “The Buzz” that she was inspired to do the Christmas looks, all in the spirit of the season. While she normally created holiday or seasoned-themed make-up, the Christmas look is very special since it speaks of happiness and bliss through right colours and glitter. She is hoping the look breaks the belief that make-up is just about beauty and it can also be about fun and creativeness.
