Lindener charged with intent to traffic

A LINDEN technical Institution (LTI) student appeared in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court on Thursday and was charged for possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.
Marex Williams, 22, of Wismar, Linden appeared before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan and denied the charge.

The particulars of the charge stated that on December 12, 2018 at Victory Valley Wismar, Linden, Williams allegedly had 27 grams of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.
The man was represented by attorney-at- law Paul Fung-A-Fat, whose application for bail was granted in the sum of $50,000.

The matter has been adjourned to January 7, 2018 and transferred to the Linden Magistrate’s Court.
