BANKS DIH Limited has honoured 19 employees in recognition of their 20 years of service to the company at its Annual 20-Year-Club Luncheon held on Friday at Thirst Park.
Chairman/Managing Director Clifford Reis presented gold pins with the company’s emblem to the recipients.
The feature address was delivered by Business Development Executive, Ramesh Dookhoo, who remarked that the inductees should value their contribution to the company by sharing the culture of hard work, dedication, creativity, respect, good employment conditions and charity.
He paid special tribute to Reis and Executive Directors George McDonald, Michael Pereira, Andrew Carto and Shabir Hussein for their continued stewardship of the company.
The over 200 employees who are members of the 20-Year-Club attended the luncheon.
The 19 employees honoured were Anand Charran (Accounts); Dexter Mayers (Beverage Warehouse); Colvon Sam, Michael Murray and Rawle Williams (Soft Drink Plant); Quincy Thomas and Neil Parris (Materials Handling); Patricia Blackman (Main Street Qik Serv); Francine De Abreu (Linden Indoor); Persaud Ramdhanie (Vehicle Workshop); Germine McKoy and Garth Ralph (General Workshop); Henry Merchant (Trisco Administration); Bernard Johnson (OMG), Romesh Persaud (Liquor Sales/Beverage Supervision); Maurice Payne and Godfrey Searles (Tropical Mist Plant); Stephen Gulliver (Beer Bottling Plant); and Julian Jordan (Bakery).
