UNITED States Ambassador H.E. Perry Holloway on Friday paid farewell visits to Prime Minister Moses Nagamootoo and Minister of State Joseph Harmon at their offices, Ministry of the Presidency.

Mr. Holloway and his wife Rosaura are due to leave Guyana next month after a tour of duty lasting just over three years. Prime Minister Nagamootoo, who is also performing the functions of President, expressed his satisfaction over the work of the ambassador in strengthening U.S.-Guyana relations. “Ambassador Holloway has been a good friend of the Guyanese people,” the PM noted, in presenting him with an item of Guyana craftwork.

Meanwhile, Ambassador Holloway also visited Minister of State, Joseph Harmon. The Ambassador lauded the cordial relationship and bilateral cooperation that the two countries have shared over the past 52 years. Ambassador Holloway was accredited by President David Granger in October 2015.
