THE Guyana Power and Light Inc. says its countrywide audit exercise is continuing within the zones of Stabroek Market to Louisa Road; Croal Street to Sussex Street; East of Louisa Road to Vlissingen Road and Croal Street to Sussex Street.

In a release, the GPL said that the audit exercise is geared towards ensuring the accuracy of its computerised database. “This exercise requires our surveyors to be granted access to the customer’s premises to verify meter information, and also to verify the customer’s account information to update our information system.”

The audit exercise will be performed from Sunday to Sunday between 07:30 hrs and 17:00 hrs, and all authorised GPL personnel associated with the audit will wear identification cards at all times. Additionally, if customers require verification of activities in their community, they can contact GPL on 226-2600 Ext 1520, the release added.

The surveyors associated with the project were identified as: Wilfred Hope, Errol Higgins, Tiffany Mc Donald, Kendacy Fortune, Paul Alleyne, Khamesh Ramlakhan, Leon Adams, Christopher Anthony, Oneil Dalhouse, Lynnesha Rigby, Devona Mc Pherson and Tandica Mc Garrell.
