A 19-year-old labourer who allegedly had sexual relations with a minor, was on Monday granted bail in the sum of $150,000 when he appeared before Magistrate Esther Sam at the Charity Magistrate’s Court.

Rennie Patton is alleged to have raped the child on the 6th July 2018 at the Red Village, Onderneeming, Essequibo Coast. The accused was not required to plead to the charge.
