Domestic carrier , Trans Guyana Airways (TGA) , recently completed a successful online training programme, on which is deemed a milestone here.
According to a release from the company’s public relations representative , the G1000 Online Remote Caravan Training was facilitated by Flight Safety International, Wichita. it was noted that the training was the first to be delivered using online medium to an aviation company based out of the United States of America.
The delivery of the course was purely web-based interaction between the participants and presenters , the release stated. In addition to TGA pilots , a representative of the Guyana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) participated in the exercise.
Those who completed the training are Captains Francis Camacho ,Cleon Melville, Dos Ramos, Al Fredericks, Shivram Arjun,Jonathan Mohamed, Cleril Lyttle and GCAA representative Captain Christopher Kirkcaldy.
Flight Safety International long standing relationship with Trans Guyana Airways Limited in providing flight training to the pilot body continues to positively strengthen the relations between the two entities , the release stated.
