RAYMOND Seebarran continues to impress on the local racing circuit with another rich vein of form in the Street Tuner class on Sunday.
He picked up two wins in three races at the First National Race of Champions at the South Dakota Circuit, making a positive start to his title hunt.
Speaking to Chronicle Sport after the meet, Seebarran said, “The car was working well all weekend so I have to thank my team for the excellent work they did.”
“The competition was stiff yesterday and it meant that I had to do a lot of driving. I knew I probably had the best launch of the front three and I used that. I got in front and stayed there.”
“It took some work but I was able to do it well. It called for a lot defensive driving and being able to cover the main passing zones.”
He noted that he gained confidence to up himself to the Sport tuner class where he also attained podium finishes.
“The car was working so well, I felt I could have been sizeable competition for the Sports Tuner group and I feel I did pretty well,” he said.
He also thanked his sponsors Ramps Logistics, El Dorado Offshore, Orbis Caribbean, Ray’s One Stop Auto Parts, The Publik, Twist Juice and Clearview Windshield Repair.
