A NORTH West District (NWD) man was on Tuesday remanded to prison by Senior Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus on a charge of raping his 12-year-old female relative.
Peter George, called ‘Paul’ was not required to plead to the indictable charge, which alleged that during the month of September 2017 at Manawarin Village, Moruca, NWD, he engaged in sexual penetration with a child under the age of 16.
The matter was held in camera and he was remanded to prison until March 27.
