THE School of the Nations is set to host a Caribbean Educational Leadership conference at the institution from April 5-6, 2018.
According to a press statement from the school, prominent speakers from the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States of America (USA) and countries within Africa have confirmed their attendance.
“In addition to the conference, there will be a series of workshops on each afternoon… we are hoping for 250 participants from throughout the Caribbean,’’ said the press statement.
School of the Nations highlighted that the Conference will be hosted in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the British High Commission.
In addition to the conference, on April 9, 2018, ‘Nations’ will be hosting an International Education Fair in its compound where universities from the UK, the Caribbean and North America will promote their various programmes.
Chairman of the institution, Dr. Brian O’Toole will also launch his book “Educational Leadership: a Guyanese perspective” at the event.
