THE police are investigating the circumstances under which a 60-year-old accountant of Sandy’s funeral Home was found dead Saturday morning at his lot 108, La Bonne Intention (LBI), East Coast Demerara home.

Dead is Sheek Mohamed Hack. He was found lying motionless face up behind his gate at his residence by passerby, with a wound at the back of his head.

Enquiries disclosed that the victim was suffering from a heart condition and recently had a heart surgery in the USA and would usually visit that country for check-ups.

Hack, who is a licensed firearm holder, did not walk with it because of his condition.
However, the police did not find the weapon at his home. The body was taken to Sandy’s Funeral Home as investigations continue.
