FORTY-SEVEN-year-old Agowa Wellington, of lot 10 North Sophia, Greater Georgetown, appeared before Magistrate Fabayo Azore, charged for assaulting his child’s mother Temika Canady with whom he shares a home.

It was stated that couple had an argument and exchange of words for the purchasing of baby pampers, as result of which Wellington assaulted Canady, causing her bodily harm. Wellington pleaded not guilty to the charge, was granted $40,000 bail and the matter was transferred to another court.
