As we bid farewell to October- designated both Breast Cancer Awareness and Agriculture Month, the Pepperpot Magazine brings you just a few more stories that tap into these areas. But as November beckons, we also begin to look toward Road Safety Awareness and the work of the Guyana Road Safety Council. We dig a bit deeper, however, by giving some insight into the lives of persons who, following some reckless action on the roadways, are now struggling to pick up the pieces and move on. The importance of road safety can never be over stated, as it will ever be an important conversation that needs to be had, particularly given the recent accidents that took the lives of numerous persons in the past weeks. Speaking of important conversations, we also take a look at sexual harassment and examine the social issues surrounding this problem, including our inability to face it head on, despite its daily occurrence. These stories are complimented by our usual ensemble of light and thought-provoking stories all aimed at enriching your Sunday reading.
