GFF, NCN sign MoU

THE Guyana Football Federation (GFF) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Communications Network Inc. (NCN), yesterday.

The new agreement which provides for a weekly GFF-produced television programme, was signed in the company’s studios.
In brief remarks, President of the GFF, Wayne Forde,stated, “On behalf of the Executive Committee and the GFF we are indeed very happy to enter in this Memorandum of Understanding with NCN today.”
“The GFF has pursued an agenda that puts at its core accountability and transparency. We believe that the platform this weekly one-hour programme provides, will certainly enhance our ability to communicate effectively with our members, sponsors, players and the general public,” he added
NCN Production Manager, Wendy Hermonstine, in brief remarks said: “Football is a game of two teams. It is so important today that two teams are collaborating, NCN and GFF, in an effort to bring this game to visibility. It is a platform for talented young people to develop, explore and become stars.”
Present at the signing were GFF President, Wayne Forde, GFF Marketing and Sponsorship Director, Dario McKlmon and NCN Production Manager, Wendy Hermonstine.
This is the second partnership with a government partner agency as the GFF seeks to expand its reach to the football fraternity.
