LAST WEEKEND I attended THE GIRLGOBEGREAT Conference in Atlanta. Every conference has some uniqueness about it, but the one common thing is like-minded phenomenal women.

Founder Lori Pelzer is a very courageous woman and I must commend her and team for a very empowering conference. My friend and best-selling author, Hilda Bourne, was one of the speakers. Other dynamic speakers were three-time Olympian, Tayyiba Haneef-Park, Kathy Kidd, Monokia Nance, Jessica Washington, Dorci Hill, Deborah Schrepper, Vanessa Klinger, Tequita Brice, Tonya Gerard, Donna Barr, La Quisha Hall, Monika Barr, Monika Lewis and the lone guy, Jaamal Ali.

I connected with some great women and many of them have done exceptionally well in business and transforming lives. Some women are interested in collaborating with me on future projects. Many also expressed interest to visit Guyana for the events hosted during women’s month in March by the Sonia Noel Foundation for Creative Arts, in collaboration with the Women’s Association for Sustainable Development.

One of the highlights of my weekend was certainly meeting Kathy Kidd again and taking action toward my book. She is one of the founders of Kidd Marketing which assisted over one hundred authors to become best- selling authors. We discussed my book last year at `Motivating the Masses’ and she was super excited with the concept and she is elated that I finally made the decision to make `BEYOND THE RUNWAY’ a Best Seller, God’s willing.

I was thrilled when, during her presentation at the conference, she mentioned my upcoming book `BEYOND THE RUNWAY’ and said that she’s looking forward to making it a bestseller.

`BEYOND THE RUNWAY’ will offer readers a glimpse into that world that makes every day a masterpiece, even with life challenges. It will show you that when you truly love what you do because you have found your purpose, you will make the impossible possible. It is a journey of struggle, strength, survival, and endurance, but also one of beauty, honour, love, compassion and forgiveness. This book will take you to the core of survival; to the depths of self-acceptance and to the height of celebration.

`BEYOND THE RUNWAY’ will inspire you to want to do because in the doing you become. This book will motivate those who are still struggling to be the best version of themselves. I have been working on this book for years but nothing happens before the right time. I am determined to impact lives with this book.You have to be so focused and consistent to achieve your goals. In life, we have to take chances to change things in our lives even when we not sure of the unknown.
