THE Ministry of the Presidency (MoTP) has stated that Dr Eric Phillips is not an Adviser to President David Granger as was claimed in a letter by Mr. Ravi Dev.

In a statement, the MoTP said Phillips is employed by the Ministry of the Presidency as a Special Assistant to Dr. Clive Thomas. “The ministry therefore calls for a retraction of this misinformation which was published as a letter to the editor in the Guyana Chronicle, September 18, 2017 (“Can the Indian –Guyanese speak?”) by Mr. Ravi Dev.”
