PRIME Minister Moses Nagamootoo and Mrs Nagamootoo with guests at a civic reception in Guadeloupe Friday evening after his arrival for a two-day visit. On Saturday, the Prime Minister was received by Mayor of Cape Terre and took part in a Roundtable discussion on cooperation with Henri Nagapin, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Regional Administration officials.
Mr Nagamootoo is in Guadeloupe for the 100th Anniversary Festival of the End of Indian Indentureship, which will be held in Capesterre Belle, Guadeloupe. The festival will be hosted by the Guadeloupe Chapter of The Global Organisation of People of Indian Origin (GOPIO), with the objective of sharing with the Caribbean, the multi-cultural heritage of Guadeloupe and the French West Indies.
