Dear Editor,
ON behalf of the Holder family, I wish to extend our heart-felt gratitude to the doctors and staff of the Bartica Hospital for the sterling care provided to my late father Mr Aubrey Ignatius Holder.
Our burden of grief weighs less because of the professionalism and compassion shown to my dad and our family during his last earthly days.
As one of the oldest members of the Bartica community, my father’s final days passed with the best possible care and dignity provided by the staff of the Bartica Hospital. This remains a sustaining source of comfort to our family. I commend the hospital on its ambulance services, geriatric and other health programmes that many towns so desperately need.
After years of disconcerting trepidation about the health and welfare of my elderly parents, I am thankful for the high level of professionalism and services provided to them by this institution in their golden years.
