A North East La Penitence man is nursing a gunshot wound following a robbery at a bar at Pouderoyen, West Bank Demerara on Friday night.Reports are forty-six year old Richard Mittleholzer was shot by an armed bandit during an attack a bar at Middle Street, Pouderoyen bar sometime after midnight. He sustained a gunshot wound to his lower abdomen and during the melee, the intruder escaped with the man’s diamond bracelet.
The injured man was later admitted to the Georgetown Public Hospital.
Police are investigating the incident .
