‘Boat gone a fall can’t tun back’

Dear Uncle Henry,
I read your advice on social matters. I am pregnant but scared to disclose this to my parents. What to do?

Hi mother to be,
‘ Boat gang ah fall can’t tun back!’ This is your case. A baby on the way. Care and protect the embryo. No abortion!
Now seek out mom when she is alone in a good mood. Bring her a rose or a chocolate or take her out for dinner. Get her happy. And then. Tell her you have some happy new for her. Tell her out rightly.
‘Mom, I’m so sorry but I am pregnant’. Prepare for a show down. Let mom rant and rage, curse or fight you or get up and walk off. It’s okay. Perhaps she does the opposite- Show interest, show joy. A grand on its way. Tell her who the father is and together bring the expectant dad into the home. You need all the support you can muster. And together begin to prepare to greet your ‘ bundle of joy’. Spit it out- no matter the response. Prepare for a show-down but it blow off. The earlier you do it-the better. Don’t wait for mom to see that tummy bulge. Don’t hide it. The baby deserves the right to be born. Don’t feel sorry. Be positive and be proud. You will become a mother-sacred role
Healthy pregnancy
