Digicel Guyana on Tuesday launched its annual ‘Mashramani Fit’ workout sessions at the Guyana Cricket Club Ground, Bourda, where more than 300 persons participated. The highly anticipated event was geared towards getting persons fit and ready for the road on February 23.
Digicel will be celebrating its 10th anniversary on February 14, and as such, the cellphone giant is focused on promoting health and fitness.

“Health and fitness is something that we advocate strongly and what better way to start the year off than with fitness,” said Digicel Communications Manager Vidya Sanichara at the launch of the event on Tuesday.
Mash Fit is scheduled to run for a month and the sessions are free. They are conducted by fitness instructor Vanilla Roberts, and registration is done Monday-Friday from 17:00 at GCC Ground.
At the end of the month, prizes will be given for biggest looser, most consistent person and much more.
The large gathering of participants on Tuesday showed off their dancing moves to popular songs as they get ready to get fit for the Digicel Mashramani Float Parade on February 23.
