Two men are confirmed dead following a head-on collision on the Linden/Soesdyke Highway on Wednesday evening.

Dead is Dextroy Griffith, a mechanic and taxi driver David Primus; both men are said to be residents of Amelia’s Ward, Linden. It is believed that a third person also died in the accident. but this is yet to be confirmed. The men were driving in opposite direction along the highway around 18:00hrs when they collided in the vicinity of Low Creek on the highway.

A large crowd gathered at the scene and rescuers were forced to cut-open the two vehicles to extract the men’s bodies after which they were rushed to the Linden Hospital complex.

Police are at the scene investigating the accident.
