Please permit us space in your newspapers to set the record straight to Mr. Sasenarine Singh who has been writing letters in the press attempting to besmirch the reputation and character of Brother Tacuma Ogunseye.Brother Tacuma Ogunseye was one of the original founders of our Organisation and since that time we have never known him to be a seeker of gold coins from the PPPC or any political party. As a matter of fact Brother Tacuma argued profusely against ACDA approaching any government for monies whatever the event. He firmly advocated that all monies given to ACDA should be in the public domain and that any monies a governments should make to assist ACDA in its work be done transparently and be in the form of a subvention.
The brother was even approached by a member on behalf of the last Minister of Empowerment to set up at his stall in the Kitty market an exclusive outlet to sell phone cards. Brother Tacuma bluntly refused and said that he would never lose his integrity for money. He would rather do without. This attack on Brother Tacuma’s integrity and character is clearly made by someone that clearly does not know the brother for if Sasenarine Singh knew Tacuma Ogunseye he would never use this method of attack to defend his position.
