THE Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company plus (GTT+) in an effort to provide consumers with the latest technology and technological appliances launched its third Customer Experience Store on Friday. This new intervention by GTT comes as a replacement for the formerly known ‘GTT Blackberry Store,’ at lot 55 Brickdam, Georgetown and is now the third Customer Experience Store to be opened by the telecommunication giant.
At the launch of the Brickdam store, GTT Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Justin Nedd declared that the company is in the process of undergoing “immense changes.”
“We are looking to introduce new stuff and this store is just an example of what is yet to come. As compared to our other stores, this is brighter and has a more engaging environment to do business,” Nedd said.
And with the Christmas season around, GTT has moved to introduce its Christmas promotion, which includes deep discounts on phones and other services.
“Maintaining customer satisfaction is our number one priority, so we have been putting [in] hard work over the past few years and it’s safe to say that we are seeing results,” Nedd said, as he congratulated his staffers for the work they have been doing.
Recognising the good work was Minister of Public Telecommunications Kathy Hughes, who underscored the fact that GTT has been an important partner in the development of Guyana for many years.
However, she reiterated that the country cannot be transformed until it has better broadband access, and in order to achieve this, more cooperation from companies is need.
Nevertheless, she congratulated GTT and charged them to maintain customer satisfaction by providing services of a high standard.
