THE lifeless body of a man thought to be a destitute was discovered Tuesday morning in the parking lot of 704 Sports Bar, Lamaha St, Georgetown.

The body, which appeared fresh, was clad in shorts next to the canal.

The body appeared to have no marks of violence. Residents in the area said they did not pay attention to the body since they knew vagrants would randomly sleep in the area.

Police said that investigations are being conducted into the circumstances surrounding the death of the man. A post-mortem examination is to be conducted shortly and the body is at the Lyken’s Funeral Home.
