TWO cousins are in police custody after 87 pounds of compressed cannabis sativa (marijuana) was found in their apartment on Friday morning.According to a police release, ranks acting on information, found the illegal substance on the two cousins ages 20 and 36 at their Turkeyen, East Coast Demerara, apartment.

The drugs were stored in 26 taped parcels, in a bag, hidden in a plastic barrel, in one of the rooms of the apartment.

They are likely to appear in court shortly.
