NINETEEN-YEAR-old Nyron Williams of Lot 10, Old England, Linden was yesterday fined $5,000 after he was charged with possession of six grams of cannabis.Williams pleaded guilty to the charge when it was read to him by City Magistrate Fabayo Azore.

According to the facts on August 12, police on patrol saw the teen acting in a suspicious manner and decided to search him. The prohibited substance was found in his pants pocket.

The Magistrate imposed the fine and ordered him to perform six months’ community service at the Linden Magistrate’s Court.
