Police are conducting investigations into the murder of Arnold Rattan, of Sisters Village, West Bank Demerara (WBD), which occurred at 23:55h on Monday at Long Pond Road, Sisters Village, W.B.D.

Investigations have revealed that Rattan and another man had an argument when Rattan was stabbed to his chest. He was rushed to the West Demerara Regional Hospital and died whilst receiving treatment.

The assailant was captured by public spirited citizens and handed over to the police.

“Once again, the Force wishes to laud the efforts of citizens who continue to support law enforcement,” a police release noted.
