A 29-year-old shopkeeper accused of stealing a gold chain was on Tuesday released on $75,000 bail by City Magistrate Dylon Bess.Orin Favorite of Rosemary Lane, South Ruimveldt Park, pleaded not guilty to the charge which stated that on July 28, at Leopold Street he stole Charlie Athmiya’s $135,000 gold chain.

Police Prosecutor, Lance Corporal Christopher Morris made no objections to Favorite being granted his pre-trail liberty.

Magistrate Bess released the father of one on $75,000 bail and ordered him to return to court on August 16 for statements.
