SIX matches in the Guyana Football Federation/NAMILCO Thunderbolt Flour Power Under-17 League will be contested this weekend at different venues after the inclement weather put a damper on the League last weekend, forcing the organisers of the various associations to reschedule some matches.Today from 13:00hrs on the East Coast Demerara, Buxton Stars will face Ann’s Grove at the Grove ground, while the feature match which is scheduled for a 15:00hrs start will see home side Golden Stars face off with Buxton Youth Developers.
Tomorrow, Buxton United tackle Bachelor’s Adventure/Paradise Sports Club from 13:00hrs and from 15:00hrs, BV/Triumph take on Victoria Kings.
In the West Demerara area, two matches will be played, one today and another tomorrow at the Den Amstel ground, West Coast Demerara.
Today from 12:00hrs, Slingerz will oppose Beavers while tomorrow Eagles will oppose Wales from noon also.
Nine associations namely Rupununi, Berbice, East Demerara, East Bank, Georgetown, West Demerara, Bartica, Essequibo and Upper Demerara are contesting the GFF/NAMILCO Flour Power Under-17 League.
