Buzzing this weekend

HERE comes the summer, and with it a whole bunch of exciting activities. Here’s what’s buzzing this weekend.
TONIGHT
**Join several top DJs as they battle for who will be the best at the ‘Addicted to Bass’ competition at the Original Palm Court. Everyone is free before 22:00hrs; admission is $2,000 afterwards.

**Party with dancehall DJ, ‘Gully Bop’ at the Gravity Lounge tonight from 21:00hrs. Admission is $2,000 at the door.
TOMORROW
**Visit the Massy Stores at Providence, East Bank Demerara to take part in their Health Fair from 09:30hrs to 16:00hrs.
The event will be hosted under the theme, “Our family helping your family to better health”.
Save a life by donating to the Blood Drive, which will be conducted by the National Blood Transfusion Services.
There will also be free glucose and blood pressure testing, cholesterol testing, fitness advice sessions, discounts on health products, nutrition advice and health tips, product sampling and giveaways and much much more!

**Ever been to a party and hated the music that was playing? Well, avoid that hassle at Gravit’s Boyaka Silent Headphones Party.
It will be the first of its kind in Guyana, so C and B there.
Who needs music blasting for all to hear! The only person who needs to hear is you! Tickets available at Gravity Lounge, Electronic City and Oasis Café and cost $2,000.
A silent party is an event where people dance to music listened to on wireless headphones. Rather than using a speaker system, music is broadcast via a radio transmitter, with the signal being picked up by wireless headphone receivers worn by the participants.
You have more than one option of music; just flip a switch on the headphone and you are set!
**Pulse Entertainment presents Taboo Summer Fling, featuring the music of DJ Anisah, DJ Ryan and Selector Carl.
Party starts at 21:00hrs. Party your night away with your summer fling at this highly anticipated event.
