Ramdin vows to be back with the West Indies

WHILE expressing disappointment at being left out of the West Indies Test team to face India, wicketkeeper-batsman Denesh Ramdin, says he will be back.According to Ramdin, he was surprised by the decision taken by chief selector Courtney Browne, who he said told him his average over the last five or six years had not been good enough.
His surprise comes from the fact that in his last two Test innings, he scored 59 and 62, and assumed that selection to the Test side would be based on your current form.
“It seems like I’m not a senior player who has done well over the years. But I’ve been down that road before and come back and done very well,” said Ramdin.
Ramdin’s ommission from the Test side, according to the player, is only temporary, the wicketkeeper, certain he can prove he deserves a spot.
“I felt a bit surprised, but I have no choice but to live by the decision of the higher authority. I don’t own cricket, and, well, I have to go back to my game in the regional four-day set up and come again,” the Trinidad and Tobago cricketer said.
