Four overseas players in ‘Green Machine’ squad to face T&T

GUYANA will field established players to meet the defending Rugby America North (RAN) 15s North Zone champions Trinidad & Tobago this weekend at the Hasely Crawford Stadium.Headlining the list is Australia-based Kevin McKenzie, a former Hornet’s player now plying his trade for the Latin Heat Australia.
Apart from McKenzie, Richard Staglon (Trinidad Caribs/Yamaha Caribs), Ronald Mayers (Trinidad Northerns/Hornets), Claudius Butts (Harvards/Yamaha Caribs) and Peabo Hamilton (Trinidad Northerns/Hornets) have also been named as part of the touring contingent.
Other locally based players: Jason Tyrell (Hornets), Rondel McArthur (UG Wolves), Rickford Cummings (Hornets), Kevon David (Yamaha Caribs), Jose Felicien (Hornets), Dwayne Schroeder (GDF), Jamal Angus (UG Wolves), and Delroy Gordon (Hornets).
Ryan Gonsalves (Hornets), Avery Corbin (GDF), Lancelot Adonis (UG Wolves), Partrick King (GDF), Godfrey Broomes (UG Wolves), Osie McKenzie (UG Wolves), Cyon Kitt (GDF), Triton Brathwaite (GDF), Grantley Williams (Police Falcons) and Toby David (Hornets).
Saturday’s match against the defending South Zone champions Trinidad will see the winners play the Northern Zone finalists, which game will also be decided on Saturday when the Cayman Islands face Bermuda.
