Long lines for pension rectified

REFERENCE is made to the publication, in your June 2, 2016 issue, of a letter captioned “Pensioners wait for hours for money outside Blairmont (Rosignol) Post Office.”The Guyana Post Office Corporation (GPOC) wishes to apologise to the pensioners for any inconvenience caused. The aforementioned delay transpired on the first day of pension distribution, but was subsequently rectified.

Notwithstanding the forgoing, staff members of the Rosignol Post Office remain committed to serving the public.
