Linden Guinness Greatest of De Streets semi-finals on today

CLASSIC Six, Team 25, Wisroc Good Fellas and High Rollers are through to the semi-finals of this year’s Linden Guinness Greatest of de Streets football competition following their wins against quarter-final opponents at the Mackenzie Car Park on Friday night.Playing in the first game, Classic Six brushed aside hard knocks knocking them out 3-0 as Colwyn Drakes got the double, which came in the 4th and 20th minutes with the other scored by Shane Lucky in the 19th minute.
The Team 25 side then hammered Magic stars using their superior brand of play and No Tricks 5-0 as veteran Collie Hercules opened the winners’ scoring in the 4th minute and this was followed by Quacy Johnson in the 5th, Ryan noel in the 16th and Romain Adams getting the brace with goals in the 19th and 20th minutes.
In the third quarter-final game, Good Fellas earned a close win against Jermaine and Sons Silver Bullets, after DeShawn Joseph began the scoring for Good Fellas in the 1st minute and Omeion Wills got the other in the 3rd minute; but the Bullets fired back through goals from Dameion Williams in the 5th minute and Nigel Nurnnett in the 13th.
Game four ended with victory for High Rollers, who rolled past Russians 3-0, with Jamal Almons netting in the 1st and 13th minutes and Kendolph Lewis the other in the 11th minute.
The semi-finals will be played today when Wisrock Good Fellas take on Classic Six in the first game and the other is between Team 25 and High Rollers.
