No more flooding

BETTER TIMES: For many years, the entrance to State House on Main Street in Georgetown has been known to quickly flood whenever there is a little rain. Surprisingly, yesterday’s pre-dawn downpour and persistent morning showers were nullified by swiftly-moving water in the surrounding drains.

It appears that the city-wide clean-up campaign has put an end to the bugbear of flooding.
