AURA, deemed the “hottest” night club around town, the once membership- access- only bar, will now open its doors to the general public.Going up in the elevator of the Pegasus Hotel, your mind leaves you to wonder what awaits you on the top floor. As the doors open, the lights, sounds and atmosphere draw you in, and is capable of changing a frown to a smile.
Being eight stories up, the club, apart from its internal atmosphere, offers a 360 degrees view of the entire city and the Atlantic Ocean – an experience which was meant to be shared with everyone.
Therefore, making the announcement of its public opening, Events and Marketing Consultant, Andre Rochford declared that, “This is one of the hottest nightclubs in Guyana, and by opening our doors to the public, we promise to change your view of the night life.”
Aura intends taking night life to the next level. Adopting the Trinidadian style of partying, the nightclub aims to give Guyanese the ultimate partying experience.
Rochford said that Guyanese views of entertainment will be changed, given that unlike the other competitors who market their clubs on artistes and DJs, they will be training their own Aura DJs.
“We are not selling Aura on entertainment. It must be sold as an experience, so that they can come and get services… we’ll have hostesses, we’ll have welcome drinks, generic music, and not focus and on selling artistes, but we will engage the concepts that will enhance the artistes coming,” said the Club’s Marketing consultant.
Meanwhile, potential “committee members” can look forward to complimentary drinks on entry, good music and the added attraction of performances by international artistes during selective periods. Additionally, security escorts will be available to escort guests to their vehicles at the end of the night.
Access to the lounge attracts a $2,000 cover charge.
