PRIME Minister Moses Nagamootoo on Monday joined in expressing sympathy to the family of Mr. Romesh Lalaram, the estate worker from Bath, West Coast Berbice who succumbed to bee stings.The Prime Minister and his wife visited the family and expressed their condolences. Mr Lalaram, 56, was attacked by a swarm of Africanised bees aback Bath Settlement, West Coast Berbice on Saturday, and later succumbed to his injuries. Several other estate workers were stung by the bees.

The Guyana Sugar Corporation has stated that it will provide support to Mr Lalaram’s family.
