CONTINENTAL Agencies Ltd. (CAL) through its lead brand Sunburst Juice is continuing its partnership with Badminton player Narayan Ramdhani as one of its Sunburst Brand Ambassadors.This was evident at a presentation ceremony, when a sponsorship cheque was handed over to Narayan to assist with his training and international participation at upcoming badminton tournaments.
Ramdhani recently won Bronze at the Peru Junior International March 5-12, 2016 and is now preparing for the Suriname Easter Junior International, which will be held March 25-27, 2016.
He started badminton at a very young age and has won all his age-group championships to date, winning competitions from the mere age of six with his first international success coming at seven, when he medalled at the Suriname Juniors International.
Ramdhani continued his career internationally over the years winning many matches at the South American Youth Championships, The Caribbean Junior Championships, The Pan-American Junior Championships, The World Juniors Championships and he also qualified for the Senior Pan Am Games in Toronto where he participated.
Marketing and Sales Manager of Continental Group of Companies, Mr. Avalon Jagnandan, pointed out that Continental is very happy to continue its engagements with Narayan, since he has represented the Sunburst Brand well and has embraced the slogan of Sunburst which is “Juice of Champions” especially in recent times.
He added that the young Ramdhani has moved up the international rankings and is now ranked # 53 in the World, # 3 in Pan America and # 1 in the Caribbean.
He noted that over the years the Continental Group of Companies through its Sunburst Brand has supported sports in Guyana in a wide array of areas, these being Motor Racing, Badminton, Football, Table Tennis, Karate, Hockey, Golf and Horse Racing, just to name a few.
The CAL manager also thanked patrons for their support for the locally manufactured juice, since it’s through the consumption of Sunburst Juice by consumers nationwide that Continental Agencies Ltd is able to give back to the development of youth and sports in Guyana.
