THE Tourism and Hospitality Association of Guyana (THAG) hosted a promotional sales event at the Giftland Mall on Saturday last to offer services and products at attractive prices to locals travelling to various locations across the country.

Some of the companies that attended included Iwokrama River Lodge, Guyana Marriot Hotel, Wilderness Explorer, Aracari Resort, Roraima Airways Limited, Pegasus Hotel Guyana, Air Services Limited, Hurakabra Resort, Baganara, and Republic Bank Guyana.

According to Executive Director of THAG Treina Butts, as part of the 50th Independence Anniversary, the industry partners endeavour to create opportunities for visiting families and locals to experience travel at affordable rates within the destination.

All patrons were given the opportunity to use the promotional code for the event when making their bookings and thereby received discounted rates from respective participating operations.
