BRIDGETOWN, Barbados – Barbados Pride, who won the toss and batted, were dismissed for 274 in 88.3 overs in their first innings against leaders Guyana Jaguars, at the close of play on the opening day of their seventh round, top-of-the-table regional Professional Cricket League (PCL) first-class match at Kensington Oval here yesterday. Kevin Stoute 56 and Shamarh Brooks who also made 56 were the joint top-scorers for Barbados Pride.
Brooks hit seven fours and a six off 122 balls in 168 minutes while Stoute stroked five fours and a six off 99 balls in 146 minutes.
Other useful contributions came from captain Kraigg Brathwaite (40), Jonathan Carter (38) and Shai Hope (27).
