BRIDGETOWN – Barbados Pride, replying to the Windward Islands Volcanoes’ first innings total of 250, were 272 for two off 90 overs at the close of play on the second day of their sixth round match in the WICB Regional Professional Cricket League first-class championship at Kensington Oval here yesterday.Captain Kraigg Brathwaite was out for 117, his 15th first-class century while Shai Hope is not out on 98.
The pair added 168 runs for the second wicket after opener Kyle Corbin fell for 38 following a 93-run opening stand with Brathwaite, who hit eight fours and a six off 271 balls in 346 minutes and passed 6 000 runs in his 89 first-class match.
Hope has so far struck eight fours in his unbeaten 98 off 187-balls in 244 minutes while Corbin hit two sixes and three fours in his 83-ball innings.
