Police on Wednesday destroyed a large ganja farm at Onderneeming Backdam, Essequibo Coast. In a release police said acting on information received, ranks conducted another drug eradication operation in the Onderneeming Backdam, Essequibo Coast, during which a field that was under cultivation with approximately 525 cannabis sativa (marijuana) plants, at an average height of 7cms. was found and destroyed. No arrest was made.
