Two remanded on drug charges

CITY magistrate Alex Moore remanded a young man  to jail after he was charged with possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
Twenty- two- year old Collin Roberts of ‘B’ Field Sophia,  was remanded after he pleaded not guilty to the charge which stated that on January 11, 2016, in the Camp Street prison, he had in his possession 294 grams of cannabis.  He will appear in court on January 28, 2016.
Arnold Aaron of Critchlow Street, Tucville, was also remanded by Magistrate Moore after he was also charged with possession of narcotics -20 grams – on January 12, 2016 at Arapaima Street, Georgetown.
The prosecutor’s facts stated that the mechanic had the illegal drug concealed in his crotch. This matter was also adjourned until January 28, 2016.
