TWENTY- seven -year old labourer Delroy Boyce, of 48 High and Barrack Streets, Kingston, was yesterday remanded after he was charged for committing a robbery while he was armed with a dangerous weapon.
On Tuesday, January 5, 2016, while armed with a knife in Georgetown, Delroy Boyce robbed Alvin Anthony of one cellphone valued $30,000 and $3000.
Boyce was also charged for robbing Maya Phillips, who was in the company of Anthony. He robbed her of one handbag valued $12,000 and a torchlight valued $15,000. He was remanded to prison after the police prosecutor objected to bail based on the seriousness and prevalence of the offence.
Boyce is expected to make his next court appearance on January 20, 2016.
