Two electrifying match-ups are slated for Boxing Day in the start of the quarter finals of the Upper Demerara Football Association’s (UDFA)/GT Beer Football Tournament at the Mackenzie Sports Club ground.In the night’s first game at 18.30hrs Topp XX will take on Train line, while in the other game slated for 20:30hrs will see Kwakwani Strikers versus Silver Shattas.

Notwithstanding the fact that the Topp XX will bring to this game, the present and future stars with Collie Hercules bringing his wealth of experience to this unit and rest assured he will be a factor.

Hercules will marshal things from midfield instead of his known forward spot and while that is so, Topp XX club has some well-equipped forwards in Shawn ‘Dash’ Daniels and Terrence Aaron while their defence is solid being spread among Ruel Williams, Oswald Benjamin and company.

The Kwakwani Strikers will as usual be led by the robust looking forward Dale Sauers and Shane Adams who is no stranger to these games. If they can get their act going early then they can expect a keen contest with Silver Shattas.

Shattas will be led by former Topp XX stand out Leon Clement while promising striker Colwyn David and forward Rawlston Fraser, with Kellon Adams at wing back and in goal is Kellon Major, but this is an unpredictable Shattas side.
