CHIEF Magistrate Ann McLennan yesterday released a City Constabulary Lance Corporal on self-bail on a charge of assaulting a civilian.Appearing at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court was Denise Rowland, a 51-year-old resident of Grove Housing Scheme, on a charge which alleges that on April 21 at Bourda, she unlawfully assaulted Royda Hatton.
The city officer denied the charge.
Prosecutor Deniro Jones made no objections to bail and did not relate the facts to the court.
Rowland will make her second court appearance on January 15 before City Magistrate Annette Singh.
